My grandmothers made horrible drab boring quilts. Maybe Americans like a bit more chaos in their quilts...Tonya Ricuccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10778059489713831067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33742524.post-37566829431367570722007-05-07T08:42:00.000-07:002007-05-07T08:42:00.000-07:00Thanks for shedding light on this Brigitte, and fo...Thanks for shedding light on this Brigitte, and for liking my quilt, even though it's maybe a bit foreign still.

I wonder if tastes will ever change that much though in Europe--i mean: since part of why Americans like this kind of quilt is our history with these quilts, such a taste for scrappy quilts may be a specifically American thing? The fact that you like this kind of quilt at all is probably more surprising than that most Germans don't.Nettiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11876160394468391693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33742524.post-673253854270241312007-05-07T07:49:00.000-07:002007-05-07T07:49:00.000-07:00Nettie, ich denke, es ist beides.
Brigittehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15474536092655227160noreply@blogger.com
